It's hard to believe it's that time of year again — we're getting ready for our next Hands-On Gravity Body training, and I couldn't be more excited to welcome another group of students to beautiful Oaxaca, Mexico this November.

Imagine flying down to Mexico and stepping into the culture, the people, the food. Oaxaca is full of rich history and tradition, with great weather. We meet Monday through Thursday for training, which means your weekends are free — to integrate what you've learned, study, take a side trip, or simply enjoy your time here.

Our course was designed for people who can't take the traditional path — whatever the reason may be — yet still feel called to learn Structural Integration. Whether you want to experience it, understand it, or use it for yourself and others, this training meets you where you are.

Gerald and I have always known how powerful this work is — not only in receiving it, but in sharing it with others. When you do this work, you become part of someone's life. You get to know them over the course of 5-10+ weeks, helping them release old adhesions — work that can surface memories, held trauma, and emotion long stored in the body. You help people feel more at ease, more at home, in their own bodies, with better posture that comes naturally rather than forced. In some cases, you become a kind of life coach for your clients — and just as often, they become one for you. It's a beautiful exchange of energy.

I've moved through different chapters in my own life. There was a season working full-time from home, with little community or in-person connection. I have found.... a blend of both worlds and having community is essential for us as humans. And what better way than a community you are helping.

There's nothing quite like going to see a client, it's incredibly special sitting down with someone week after week. They become a friend, someone you love and care for. You get to witness their change over the course of sessions: some come out happier in their lives and others shift their whole lifestyle, and you get to be there for it. You get to help them find relief as they exhale their stress and tension, and feel their gratitude in return. It's such a beautiful thing to be part of. I love it so much, and I feel so thankful — my clients, my dear friends, help me just as much as I help them. You create a community built on trust. Helping others, which in turn, helps you in ways you didn't even expect.

The course runs 5 weeks, with 2 sessions each week. We've welcomed massage therapists, complete beginners with no prior background, and everyone in between — no matter your experience level, there's a place for you here.
